Logo Design Process

Our Process

We conduct an in-depth consultation with the client, pertaining to the brand, the target market and existing logo (if applicable). Some clients may have colour and/or styling preferences for the new design, as well as providing some “hero” logos.

Step 1

An in-depth consultation with the client, face to face, remote (via Zoom) or via a detailed online questionnaire, covering:

  • Existing logo (where applicable)
  • Preferred styling
  • Overview of the business and the brand
  • “Hero” logo samples (client preferences)
  • General colour preferences
  • Other elements

Step 2

The graphic designer will create between 5 and 7 logo concepts, encompassing all of the elements and client preferences and provide these to the client for appraisal and feedback.

Step 3

The client will provide feedback, suggested amendments to colourisation and graphic elements, font changes etc.

Step 4

The graphic designer will create a further 3-5 logo concepts, implementing the client feedback and client will be provided with the 2nd draft of logo proofs of concept.

The Logo Design and Graphic Design service allow for a further revision of design changes, should this be required.

Step 5

Once the completed logo has been accepted by the client, (balance payment is due), the client will be provided with the logo in various graphic formats and sizes.

Logos are provided in JPG, PNG, AI, EPS, SVG & PDF formats.

Step 6

Clients will be provided with detailed Branding Guidelines, ensuring the correct fonts, colour palette and versions of the completed logo will be implemented correctly for web/print purposes.
